SurfAce P-12 XTRA is a heavy cutting compound that quickly and easily removes paintwork imperfections, random deep scratches and heavy oxidation in the shortest possible time to deliver a unique depth of gloss and mirror like finish. P-12 can be worked for prolonged periods without drying out, making P-12 a great choice on harder clear coats.

SurfACE's polishing system utilizes the worlds first DRA™ technology. DRA (Dynamic Response Abrasion) incorporates specially milled micro precision oxides for increased cutting power and performance. DRA technology quickens the results of P-12, so you get your compounding done faster.

P-12 is body shop approved as it is silicone and ammonia free. It offers quick and easy cleanup and does not contain fillers. 

You can compound more than just automotive paint with P-12. It is also designed for the marine and furniture industries. It will easily remove imperfections and heavy oxidation from gelcoat finishes in the shortest possible time. 

How to use SurfACE P-12 XTRA:

1. Set your DA polisher to your favorite compounding speed or set your rotary polisher to 1500 rpm.
2. Apply 2-3 dime sized drops to your pad.
3. Work the surface applying medium pressure (10-15 pounds) until the defects and imperfections are removed.
4. Reduce pressure and allow the pad to move freely, this will allow the polishing action to take place.
5. After compounding, remove any residue with a clean, dry microfiber towel.
6. For compounding mark removal and gloss enhancement, P-12 XTRA should be followed with SurfACE P-40 XTRA Finishing Polish.
