Scraperite's standard rectangular blade is the original, patented double-edged blade. It is your workhorse style of blade and best suited for corner access and straight line scraping.

Blades naturally lift dirt up and away and can be easily wiped clean after each stroke. Unlike scrubbing pads and sponges, ScrapeRite blades are much better at scraping targeted areas to prevent wider damage to underlying surfaces. They also offer added safety to the user by reducing the risk of injury by laceration, making these blades safer for the surface and the user!

The General Purpose Orange is a forgiving material soft enough to be used on most surfaces including delicate surfaces like automotive paint. They are made from the softest material and their natural lubricity and pliability make them the ideal choice to use on automotive paint, glass, plastics and lcd screens. Its resistance to chemicals like acetone make it great for removing decals.

You can use ScrapeRite blades anywhere you would use a metal blade without the fear of damaging the underlying surface. This material is approved by Alcoa and Boeing for use on aircraft alloys.

While these blades can be on just about any surface, the use of chemicals or solvents to help clean away the surface may destroy the blade and damage the underlying surface. The Orange General Purpose blades are resistant to the following solvents:

 Acetic Acid 10%  Formaldehyde 40%
 Acetone  Lye
Alcohol: Isopropyl  Methyl Ethyl Keytone (MEK)
 Benzene  Turpentine
 Citric Acid  Vinegar
 Dish Soap  Xylene
