SONAX Perfect Finish is an excellent, easy to use polish that offers a lot of versatility. It can be used as a one-step polish for moderate defect removal and can also be used as a finishing polish after a more aggressive compounding step. Perfect Finish is aggressive enough to remove your compounding marks yet gentle enough to leave you with a swirl free, high gloss finish.

Perfect Finish is so versatile that it played a major role in eliminating the need for a 3 step paint correction. Now, there is rarely a need to do a "middle step" in between compounding and finishing. Less polishing steps mean you remove less material from the car and save yourself tons of time while delivering flawless results. Its silicone-free formula makes it a safe choice for body shops as well as detail shops.

How to use SONAX Perfect Finish:

With a Dual Action Polisher - Apply 3-4 dime sized drops onto your pad, place the machine on the surface and at a low speed (2-3) quickly spread Perfect Finish around your working area. Turn the dial up (4-5) and work Perfect Finish in with two passes of each up and down and left to right (45-60 secs) applying moderate pressure (10-15 lbs). Wipe away with a clean, dry microfiber towel.

With a Rotary Polisher - Apply 3-4 dime sized drops onto your pad, place the machine onto the surface and at a low speed (800 RPM) quickly spread Perfect Finish around your working area. Turn the speed up (1200 - 1400 RPM) and work Perfect Finish in with two passes of each up and down and left to right (45-60 secs) applying moderate pressure (10-15 lbs.). Wipe away with a clean, dry microfiber towel.

Recommended Pads to use with Perfect Finish:

Buff and Shine Green Polishing Pad - This combo creates an ultimate one-step process on a majority of paints. Available sizes: 4 inch, 5.5 inch and 6.25 inch.

Meguiar's Black Foam Finishing Disc - Choose this pad when using Perfect Finish as a finishing polish after compounding. Available sizes: 5 inch & 6 inch for DA Polishers, 7 inch for Rotary Polishers

Autoality Pro Tips for SONAX Perfect Finish:
  1. Use multiple pads and keep them clean! Use compressed air or a foam pad cleaning brush every few sections, or changing to a fresh pad will allow you to get the most cut and best possible finish. 
  2. Using too much product or a "clogged" pad will result in poor performance and possibly dust.
  3. The more you ask your pad to do, the more often it needs to be cleaned or changed. For example, when using Perfect Finish as a one-step you will use around 6-8 pads to get the best results on a normal size sedan whereas if you are using Perfect Finish after compounding you will only use 4-6 pads.
  4. Always remember to check your work after each panel to make sure your finish is consistent throughout the entire vehicle.
