Labocosmetica SAM is a 2-year plus stand-alone coating which, thanks to its Self Assembled Monolayer Technology, can be applied as a single layer guaranteeing both physical and chemical protection on any type of bodywork.

Labocosmetica looks at coatings differently than other companies. They view coatings through the lens of what type of protection do they offer physical and/or chemical. Physical protection refers to the coatings ability to protect the paint against scratches. Chemical protection refers to its water beading and chemical resistance.

SAM is an 80% physical, 20% chemical coating that combines both types of protection into one coating! Thanks to its functionalized molecules, SAM offers the best balance between physical and chemical protection!

SAM is an extremely easy to apply coating and is PFAS free!

Labocosmetica coatings have been subjected to various stress tests around the world thanks to their collaboration with detailers worldwide. They have tested their coatings in Dubai for its scorching heat and sandstorms, in Delhi and Manila for the suffocating smog and tropical heat and in Sweden for their harsh and cold road conditions. 

This has allowed Labocosmetica to test real world performance, allowing them to speak with confidence about the duration and ability of their coatings!

How to apply Labocosmetica SAM:

1. Thoroughly wash, decontaminate and polish the car to your desired level.
2. Thoroughly prep wipe the car with VERITAS diluted 1:5 to remove any polishing oils, old waxes or sealants prior to SAM application.
3. Pour a few drops of SAM onto the included applicator and microsuede cloths.
4. Apply SAM with light pressure in a crosshatch pattern in small sections of 50cm x 50cm.
5. Wait 2-5 minutes until streaks with tiny bubbles appear. Dry time will be impacted by temperature and humidity. The warmer or more humid it is, the shorter the dry time.
6. Using a short pile microfiber towel, remove any remaining residue in a circular motion.

After application, the vehicle must remain dry for 12 hours. Full curing takes place within 36 hours and the car should not be washed for 7/10 days. It's not necessary, but you can accelerate the dry time with an infrared lamp, placed at a distance of 50cm for about 15-20 minutes at 60C temperature.

Labocosmetica HPC can be applied as a top coat for even more duration and chemical resistance.
