DuraSlic DS 1500 is a revolutionary permanent ceramic nanocoating based on an advanced ceramic platform that provides unprecedented protection, gloss, and performance for up to 5 years. DS 1500 offers a high levels of both hydrophobicity and oil repellency. It is a robust, long lasting coating that imparts levels of protection from water, chemicals, UV and corrosion not commonly seen in ceramic coatings. 

DuraSlic has developed a unique hybrid structure that works in three ways! At the substrate interface, DuraSlic coatings create a nanometer thick layer that bonds to the substrate. Above that is a ceramic layer that adds hardness, chemical resistance, corrosion and scratch resistance. The top layer imparts hydrophobicity, oleophobicity and chemical resistance. Thus creating a unique structure and chemical composition that prevents normal degradation when applied!

You can apply DS 1500 to painted, metal, glass and plastic surfaces to protect them from water, chemicals, UV and corrosion. You can apply multiple layers to boost the level of protection as needed.

How to apply DuraSlic DS 1500:

1. Wash, decontaminate and polish the car to your desired level.
2. Ensure all contaminants have been removed with a prep wipe utilizing DuraSlic Glass and Panel Prep.
3. Pour several drops onto microfiber applicator. Immediately secure cap back onto the bottle to avoid premature curing inside the bottle.
4. Apply DS 1500 in a cross hatch pattern to a 2 ft. x 2 ft. area.
5. Allow to cure for 2-4 minutes until a rainbow effect appears, then gently wipe surface with a clean, dry microfiber towel to remove excess coating.
6. If applying multiple layers, wait 2.5 hours in between applications.
7. Allow 24 hours before exposing to moisture.
8. Wait 18-24 before topping with FlowX (optional).
