Keep your new leather looking like new with Colourlock's New Leather Care Kit! This care kit for new automotive leather features Colourlock's Leather Shield which protects new leather against abrasion damage, soiling and discoloration from clothing (dye transfer). The kit also contains Colourlock Mild Leather Cleaner and tools you need to clean your leather. 

New leather should be treated with Colourlock Leather Shield within the first three years to protect it. The driver's seat (entry bolsters of sports seats and high support cushions) usually begin showing typical signs of wear over the first three years. Leather Shield prevents this wear.

Leather shield should be used to protect pigmented or surface-colored leather in cars, furniture, jackets and handbags. Not to be used on porous lathers, suede or nubuck.

How to use the Colourlock New Leather Care Kit:

1. Always test in an inconspicuous spot for color fastness.
2. Clean off any dirt first with the included Colourlock Mild Leather Cleaner.
   1. Dispense some foam onto a the included sponge or brush. The Colourlock Leather Cleaning Brush effectively removes ingrained dirt. 
   2. Clean the leather using circular motions from seam to seam. Repeat as necessary.
   3. Wipe away dirty foam residue with a slightly moistened towel, then allow to fully dry.
3. Moisten a terry cloth slightly with Leather Shield and apply.
4. Allow to dry.
5. Do not polish or buff immediately after application.

Clean and treat the driver's seat every three months, the rest of the leather every six to twelve months.
