Don't be confused by the term "wool", as these are not your traditional twisted wool pads that old-school detailers have used used for decades on simple rotary machines. Uro-Wool pads use 100% processed wool that is "knitted" onto the pad, not twisted. The biggest advantage of knitted wool is the lack of lint. No more wool fibers floating around the shop.

The face of the wool pad is soft to the touch and made up of hundreds of individual wool fibers per square inch. The appearance of knitted wool is often compared to that of lambs-wool. However knitted wool pads have a very consistent surface, whereas lamb-wool pads do not. A knitted wool pad has a more precise construction, yielding durability and consistency in use.

Uro-Wool Blue/White pads feature Buff & Shine's Dark Yellow Light Polishing foam between the wool fiber pad face and the hook-and-loop backing material. This allows the pad to be more flexible on curved and contour surfaces. The foam interface is beveled for safety in tight spaces and to help cool the pad. The knitted wool face allows for a stronger cut, with superior leveling capability.

Even with their superior cutting ability, Uro-Wool pads will not leave the pigtails and swirling that are associated with twisted wool pads on dual-action polishers. Uro-Wool pads have the ability to finish down the paint so that less follow-up polishing is needed. You may even be able to reduce the amount of steps during a heavy paint correction by using the Uro-Wool Blue/White Cutting pad on your first step. 

Uro-Wool pads can be used with all polishing machines; dual-action, random-orbital, rotary, long-throw, gear-drive and high-action. To clean your Uro-Wool pads, use compressed air or an appropriate pad brush. You can also use a pad washer or wash them by hand.
