Lake Country's premium Low Lint pads are a knitted prewashed lambswool matted to a foam interface for maximum comfort, performance and overall user experience. Significant testing went into the design of Lake Country's new low lint pads to determine the best weight and wool pile height to maximize this pad for peak performance on any type of machine. That's right, you can use these pads on any type of polisher including: dual action polishers, long throw polishers, forced rotation polishers and rotary polishers.
The foam interface has the durability and firmness to hold up on a 21mm DA machine and feels great on a rotary polisher. It is ideally suited for heavy compounding, bringing superior cutting abilities compared to a microfiber pad. These Low Lint pads feature an amazing cut, good finishing ability, superior residue control and better performance on any machine. They also work well on Gelcoat finishes to remove oxidation and can be used as a one step on boats due to the amazing finish it leaves.
The padded interface allows ease of use and increased durability of the pad. The pad offers even pressure distribution like an exact fit style pad and the safety of a tapered pad. Overall, it gives you the safety of a tapered pad, but the performance of an exact fit pad.
Lake Country's Aggression scale is ranked from 0 (low) to 10 (high) for each ability, cutting and finishing. With both attributes, the higher the number the better the ability. A ranking of 10 is best. A 10 in cut offers you the most cutting ability while a 10 in finishing ability offers the best finish possible.
