So, I’m in a sort of pickle. A customer asks a question and I’m just not sure of the answer. Do I take a guess (like all too many stores do), or do I admit that I don’t know, and risk losing the sale.
I was honest. I told him I wasn’t sure, but If he gave me a day, I would promise to find out for him.
So, we talked about some other all-in-one sealants, and he left.
Right away, I called up Griot’s.
Turns out, One-Step Sealant has a light abrasive polish in it to help with the removal (it doesn’t just hide surface imperfections like some other AIO products do) of light scratches and swirls.
So, I called up the customer and he came in that day to pick it up.
The moral of the story: We will do the best to find you the right car care solutions. If we aren’t sure, we will find out.
